For this assignment, I ran into a few sequential overcast days.
In the name of adaptation, I decided to document how light interacts with various surfaces.
Some of these shots are from late in the night and others come from the crack of dawn.
Here are the raw files for comparison:

Hey Renard, these are some really wonderful photos! I really appreciate your use of black and white especially with the mirror photo. Being able to compare the original photo, which includes an array of colors, with the edited photo, in complete black and white, was really amazing. I can't believe how crisp the moon photo is, truly looks like something out of a movie. I think the cropping was appropriate and the editing is truly impressive. I would have personally liked to see more of the tapestry in the final photo. I think it has a lot of beautiful, yet muted colors, that could've been brought out post-processing. I also think the graduated filter tool on lightroom could've been really interesting to play with a gradient shadow into the complete darkness all the way to the right hand side. Overall, I think these photos are really well done, especially considering the limitations you were under!!
