the first one has a higher aperture; however, I think the second one demonstrates more depth of field...
Great job with these photos Cheyenne! I really like your picture of the lemons because it is framed very well. There is a great intersection in the middle where the lemons touch, and it breaks the photo up into four corners which I like. I also really enjoy the color grading photo of the bubbles because of how much detail you captured in it. Also the way you cropped it so only the bubbles and reflections were in the picture makes it much more abstract. I also like your low aperture picture of the cat, and think the black and white filter works very well, but I think you could improve it by slightly raising the exposure in the background so the cat stands out more.
ReplyDeleteCheyenne,
ReplyDeleteYour color-grading and low aperture submissions are strongest entries. I feel that your color-grading shot benefitted from its cropping, but overall it may have benefitted from starker contrast in post. Your fast shutter speed captures an image that is both playful and energetic. Kudos for capturing the essence of this kitty- I think that the motion of the string paints a picture that is both familiar and soothing.
Good job, Cheyenne.
