Great job with these photos Lily! I think that your portrait of someone you know is very funny and does a good job of telling a story. It took me a minute to realize that he was holding a shoe as a phone! I also think that you used reflections will in your self-portrait to capture yourself in different angles, however I don't think you needed to crop out the reflection on the far right.
Lily, I love the expression you captured on your brother in the first photo. I've never met him, but it shows me a part of his personality that wouldn't come across in a more serious portrait and that's really engaging. The framing feels like I just walked into the room and I've come across him executing an important business deal on his shoe-phone. I think you also made smart edits by brightening up the scene so we can see everything more clearly. Great work!
