Brianna, I like your subjects a lot but I think you should push yourself to put them in other settings to make them distinguish themselves. A book can tell you a lot about a person, but there are more things it can tell you than just what page they're on. Where is the book, on a bedside table or on a towel at the beach? Is it just one book out of a bookshelf of hundreds or did someone save up all their pennies to buy it? I think you can make us say "yeah it's just a book, but why is it there? and what does it tell us about the person who is reading it?"
